Positives from Negatives

So I have been thinking a lot about this lately. I have been trying to see positives from negative situations. Everyone strives for the same thing, to achieve happiness, but if you really think about it, negative things happen more than positives for the most part. It seems that people are set up to be disappointed.

That is why you need to see any positive you can from any negative situation. If someone close to you dies, you have to think about the good times you had, or that one death allows another soul to be born or reborn into this world. Death is a part of life you need to accept it. Everyone mourns and has feelings of sorrow and sadness, but you just can't let it over take your life.

If you can find any positive, no matter how small from a negative situation, that situation will no longer seem that bad, and you will be able to move on a lot faster. If you get turned down for a promotion, you have to think that better things are awaiting you, or that maybe it just wasn't meant to be. If you think you don't make enough money, think about how lucky you are to have a job and have money. Think about all the people that don't have a tenth of what you have.

We spend too much time worrying about what other people are doing, or what other people have. We need to stop and take a deep breath, mellow the f out, and just be happy. I know it sounds corny, but why not give it a try. Be happy with what you have, be happy with you. Be happy just to be happy, it does not matter, just stay positive and things in your life will be that much easier.
